Education Services

Malax municipality provides both Swedish- and Finnish-language early childhood education, preschool, and basic education.

Within early childhood education, there are four daycare centers and four group family daycare centers for children aged 1–5. Preschool education for 6-year-olds is organized at five localities.

In Swedish-language basic education, there are four schools for students in grades 1–6 and a joint school with Korsnäs municipality for students in grades 7–9. In Finnish-language basic education, there is one school for students in grades 1–6.
