Malax, the place to be!

All our residential areas are situated near the forest, while being centrally located close to daycare, schools, leisure opportunities, and other services.

Our plots are generally spacious, usually over 2,000 m². Plot prices range from 5,20–7,90 euros/m² (2024) for detached house plots, except for Söderfjärdsbacken where the plots cost 11–16 euros/m².

Reserving a Plot

You can apply for a plot continuously. When new residential areas are planned, plots are allocated by lottery.

The reservation period for residential plots is typically three years, for other plots usually one year. Plot reservation fees are determined by the Municipal Council every year. The reservation fee for a detached house plot is 270 euros for the first year (in 2023). For semi-detached house plots, the reservation fee is 338 euros for each commenced 1,000 m². If the plot is purchased within a year, you will receive a refund of the reservation fee.
